SUMMARY
Develops and implements business relations activities and strategies to promote growth of the Credit Union and market its products and services to the credit union’s partner groups. Serves as the Credit Union’s outside sales representative by actively identifying, cultivating, soliciting, acquiring, developing and servicing relationships with targeted businesses and groups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops an ongoing planned program of financial education and awareness-based events, tracking the effectiveness of each event and documenting post-event activities. Advocates credit union membership through active promotion of Advancial products and services during enrollment activities. Coordinates additional Credit Union staff involvement in activities as needed. Sends Advancial survey to partner groups after an activity for a rating of satisfaction.
Prepares and coordinates materials, presentations and other resources for various event formats, including but not limited to in-person seminars, live Zoom webinars, pre-recorded education and onboarding videos, online courses, tradeshows and social events.
Establishes and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with partner groups. Supplies current information and marketing materials to Advancial partner groups and ensures materials maintained by HR and benefit liaisons remain up-to-date. Schedules an annual kick off meeting with each partner group to determine their needs to plan for the coming year, etc. Responds to inquiries and/or provides timely information to HR liaisons and internal stakeholders. Coordinates effective hand-off of new members to operations staff.
Maintains accurate records of partner group statistics, contact information and business relations activities using specialized management software. Provides comprehensive written reports on development efforts. Provides statistical reports as needed and keeps outlook calendars current of all activities. Monitors and tracks partner groups and member activity within designated partner groups. Keeps track of penetration levels of all assigned partner groups.
Identifies additional opportunities and initiates activities to market the Credit Union’s products and services to eligible groups of employees/members.
Identifies and recommends Credit Union sponsorships and advertising to enhance business development and sales efforts.
Promotes and cross-sells complimentary products and services as appropriate for partner groups/customer requirements including but not limited to Inbound products and services, business accounts, Advancial Investment Services and Advancial Mortgage.
Assists with research, creation of outlines and written scripts for new financial education content. Collaborates with the Marketing Department to develop support materials to use in business relations activities.
Possesses thorough knowledge of Credit Union operations, procedures, products, services and philosophy. Keeps up-to-date on all Advancial products and services, including all expatriate policies and procedures. Maintains thorough knowledge of the expatriate and global mobility markets and trends.
Maintains thorough knowledge of regulatory environment and other environmental trends in order to identify the impact to the Credit Union and the businesses/groups it serves.
Passes to Business Relations Manager handling partner group recruitment any identified potential new sponsor groups (SEGs) for inclusion into Credit Union’s field of membership based upon the Credit Union’s strategic objectives and sales goals.
Generates and screens leads following established policies and procedures to attain new business relationships and improve overall sales and penetrations. Designs and implements selling program to promote the Credit Union and its products and services.
Maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for members and employees consistent with the Credit Union's mission and philosophy.
Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of computer equipment and software required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures and supports Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The Credit Union reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
The base range for this position is $58,000/yr. - $72,000/yr. based on experience, plus Incentives
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree (two year college degree); and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of computer equipment and software required including Microsoft Office Suite. An understanding of state and federal laws. Must possess excellent consultative sales skills to gain new business relationships and build productive partnerships with PARTNER GROUPSs. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Proficient with use of personal computer including video systems ie. Zoom, and Camtasia
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to accurately write routine reports and correspondence stressing creativity, composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid driver’s license required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires regular non-traditional/weekend hours. Local travel is regularly required to accommodate business opportunities. Regional and Out of state travel is typically required 4-6 times per year.
