SUMMARY

- Provides account information and handles member's daily credit union needs. Provides a variety of transaction services to members in the branch and by phone such as balance inquiry, transfer of funds, history information, stop payments or photocopy of check(s), etc. This includes researching and resolving member concerns.
- Processes and balances bond redemptions when necessary.
- Prepares daily checks received for deposit. This includes balancing, scanning checks, posting general ledgers.
- Makes copies and files correspondence and other records on a daily basis.
- May assist in opening and closing the branch as needed.
The pay rate for this position starts at $16/hr. and is based on experience.

SUMMARY
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple functions within the Processing Management department to include; all functions related to Mortgage Loans and serve as SME for subpoenas and other court requests. Performs loan payoffs, post Chapter 13 items as well as GAP and Warranty items. Also follows detailed and standardized procedures in performing transactions for members mailed in check deposits and loan payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Mortgage Loans providing service and support to Advancial Mortgage and Midwest. Provide support to upper management to provide mortgage documents for loan participations and sales within the deadlines provided.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing support and service by processing all subpoenas and court requests for Advancial documents for civil and criminal cases. Complete all requests within deadlines provided. This would include reviewing the subpoena to ensure it is valid and within legal code requirements.
- Responsible for processing and sorting all incoming mail for the credit union; which includes preparing a daily courier run to the Remote Operations Center for all departments housed there.
- Responsible for the processing of the weekly Home Equity Status report, including the processing of Home Equity release of liens within timeline established to comply with compliance regulations.
- Assist with the management of our record inventory stored off site with outside vendor. Serve as a back-up point of contact to pull or return record inventory from off-site storage.
- Communicates with Account Services after insurance payments are applied and a balance still remains to ensure cancellation of elective products such as GAP and Warranty.
- Processes dealers, insurances and member mail-in payoffs.
- Applies all insurance cancellations, TT&L refunds and other refunds from dealers or insurance companies to member loans accordingly.
- Responsible for mailed payment/deposit processing and balancing. All member mail-in/express delivery deposits, loan payments and other account posting functions daily.
- Responsible for processing and balancing Remit Plus on a daily basis and working with the Accounting department to clear any outages.

- Indirect Account Opening - Performs the primary function for new Indirect Auto Loan membership account opening. Reviews new auto loan membership account applications from the Lending Department, ensures exception are cleared, and obtains approval or waivers from the BSA Specialist when necessary prior to opening the account. Updates the Lending database and Velocity system application.
- Mortgage Indirect Account Opening – Performs the backup function for new Mortgage account opening. Reviews the Membership and Connex applications and obtains additional required documentation from the Mortgage Loan Processors as needed. Obtains approval from the BSA Specialist when necessary before opening the account.
- Processes member return deposits, loan payments, member share draft returns and exceptions, member in-clearings and exceptions and incoming and outgoing check adjustments within 24 hours of notice.
- Perform Federal Reserve Adjustments for various share draft transactions.
- Completes IP Daily Processing and balances. Maintains the free images in ImagePoint archive to a 5 day window.
- Remote Deposit Capture posting and balancing
- Works PRISM and SRMS cases related to check processing for GL balancing and member account corrections.
- Remote Deposits - Performs the primary function for Remote Deposits to processes members’ scanned deposit checks. Utilizes ImagePoint system to post deposit checks to members’ accounts. Determines applicable Regulation (Reg) CC Check Hold decisioning, and assists MSRs and members with Remote Deposit processing related matters.
- Processes all closed account requests that are submitted through the mail.
- Reviews insurance documents that are received by the credit union and separates documentation out by collateral type. Forwards all vehicle related documentation to SWBC for CPI Tracking.
- Performs the primary function for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Claim Processing. Initiates ancillary GAP claims for Direct and Indirect loans, Warranty Cancellation requests and other refunds received from auto dealerships or insurance companies.
- Communicates with GAP claim underwriters, auto dealerships and insurance companies on related GAP claims as needed.
- End of Month (EOM) general Ledger settlement – Performs and/or oversees end of month loan add-on products settlement and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation
- Assists with the FISupport requests from SWBC, reviews and provides the correct information regarding collateral description, VIN verification, Total loss, Repo or payoff situations.

- Functions as a back-up for IRA accounts. Reviews IRA documents and assists branch staff with IRA requests. Processes various member IRA transactions. Reviews member IRA documents. Performs adjustments on IRA accounts. Assists with annual IRA RMD processing. Works with IRA document vendor and I.T. on annual IRA forms updates and associated Symitar programming.
- Acts as a back-up and contact for Trust accounts. Reviews Trust documents and assists branch staff on Trust account requests.
- Acts as back-up and contact for In Bound USA accounts. Assists branch staff on In Bound USA account questions

Provides a variety of transaction services to members by phone such as balance inquiry, transfer of funds, history information, check orders, stop payments or photocopy of check(s), etc. This includes researching and resolving member concerns.
- Be very knowledgeable on phone etiquette and speak with a clear, concise voice.
- Being knowledgeable of the features and benefits of all credit union products and services to enable effective cross-selling, especially our checking account, and loan products. Also, be familiar with the basics and benefits of mortgage services and investment services in order to refer them to our Advancial Mortgage, and Investment department.
The salary range starts at $19/hr. and is based on experience.
